Additionally, the tour can be condensed with less driving by booking a flight from Cape Town to either George or Gqeberha Airports, depending on available time.
At Kwandwe, an armed ranger and tracker team will share their extensive knowledge with you as you track the Big Five and a variety of other wildlife, sometimes on foot. Walking safaris provide the opportunity to track white and black rhino, elephant, and buffalo on foot.
Most of the year is suitable for this tour, but early morning and late evening game drives in the Eastern Cape can be very cold in June and July. Cape Town’s rainy season occurs between June and August, the wettest months, but is interspersed with beautiful sunny days.
